A Word from Mayor Chuck
Here’s what’s happening in Crescent!
We are resurfacing Johnson St, Wheeler St, and Water Tower Road. These streets have needed to be updated for a long time. We have also started a new sidewalk along the highway and from the school parking lot to the city maintenance building. Now walkers will not need to walk on Welch Street to get to the park. We will also be starting a new sidewalk from Golden Hills to the Caseys store soon.
Hopefully the new playground equipment will be delivered and installed in the next month or so. We are excited to have a play area for the little ones.
Spring is in full bloom, so I’d like to remind everyone when mowing your yards, please do not blow the clippings into the streets; this can be quite a hazard. I don’t know about all of you, but it seems to me like dandelions are overwhelming this year. If we all work together on minimizing them, perhaps there won’t be so many in the future.
Please keep all pets off the ballfield. We have lots of kids playing there and stepping in feces takes the fun away. We want them to be focused on having an amazing game, not where they step. They need to be throwing balls and not foreign objects.
